I adore that scripture! Several years ago, a friend of mine at church - who had gone through her own struggles with IF, seven years of TTC then adopting a beautiful little boy before getting pregnant and birthing her biological son - gave me a gorgeous statue of the Virgin Mary holding her babe with that scripture on it. It is something I hold dear and, in some of my darker moments, look to and remember that there is a plan for us.
I'm so glad you're getting to experience all the joy little Alice has to offer!
What a beautiful saying and one I will continue to keep in my mind as I watch my daughter grow! I am feel so blessed everyday for my baby girl. Thank you for sharing with us!

I love this - not only for the scripture, but for the mention of the ENDLESS OPINIONS because man, oh man! Of all the things people told me about having kids, the strength of their own opinions at such a young age was not one of them!
